so , now Im going to write a longer version of my auto biography . I grew up in santa cruz , california . thats my home town . great place . I had a great child hood . great family . great time growing up in santa cruz . I went to west lake school right by the university . then in 1980 I moved to oklahoma city . I went to casady school . okc is a nice , stable place and I got a good education . then , in 1983 , I decided that I wanted to go to high school in newport , rhode island .
high school was a good time . really enjoyed newport . went to rogers high school . it was in high school that I really planned out my life .
in santa cruz , california , in the 70's , everyone was basically a hippie . so I was raised a hippy . in oklahoma city in the early 80's , there were no hippies . so , thats when I learned that no everyone on earth was a hippie . so , when I was going to high school in newport , rhode island , in the mid 80's , I understood this situation .
so , I started to plot my own existence . I knew what I wanted to do . I wanted to save the environment . so I decided to be an environmentalist .
now , I realize that not everyone is able to do what they want to do with their life . I am fortunate to have the opportunity to do what I want . I appreciate this .
so , as a teenager , it was very clear to me that the only way to save the environment , and the human race , was to convince my species to stop reproducing .
so thats what I decided to do with my life . attempt to successfully explain to my species that it was in their best interest to not breed .
so , I had to figure out how to do that . the obvious choice was the media . journalism . political journalism .
so , in 1987 , I graduated high school and moved to maui for a few years to relax and plot my environmental strategy . maui is the best . I lived in lahaina and sailed a catamaran to lanai and back . lots of surfing and party's . best times ever .
then in 1990 I moved to hilo , on the big island of hawaii , and went to college . this is where I really got into international politics . I understood that the two big players where the united nations and the international monetary fund . so I began trying to put the u.n. and the i.m.f. into some kind of east to understand media situation .
